Testo Charity Challenge update – 25,000km target reached!

We’ve done it – target reached!

Great news! The Testo team have now reached our target of 25,000km for the testo Charity Challenge.

This is such fantastic news and means Treloars School & College will now receive the maximum donation of £10,000. Well done and a massive thank you to everyone participating, I think we can all agree this has been such a great challenge to be a part of and have all really got behind it.

The official end date for this challenge is 22nd September, so although we have reached our target, you can still carry on with the challenge. And whilst the weather is still nice (with the exception of today of course!), we can all try and stay active and continue to log our km’s in the app. Maybe you could set your own target for km’s achieved by 22nd Sept, or maybe some friendly competition with someone on the leaderboard.

Below is some more about Treloars and the challenge, as well as some of the best pictures we’ve had throughout the challenge. Again, we’d like to reiterate a huge thank you to all involved for making this possible! Great job!

About the Testo Charity Challenge

As you might have heard, Testo is turning 60 this year. To celebrate this outstanding landmark, Testo decided to organise a worldwide charity challenge with the aim to become fitter as a team and to donate some of our profit for a good cause. In addition to the global Testo challenge we have decided to create a local challenge for all employees, family, friends, partners and everyone associated with Testo UK.

Team Testo reached new heights – here we are on top of the highest mountain in England – Scarfell Pike

The goal set for the UK Team Testo was to achieve 25,000km of running, walking or cycling from by 22/09/2017. For every active kilometre achieved by our UK team, Testo Limited would donate £0.40 to the Treloar school and college for handicapped children.

A great challenge for a great cause

Treloar is an incredible organisation in Alton that helps more than 150 physically disabled children from all over the UK to learn and live an independent live. 80% of all students at Treloar’s suffer from a very challenging form of cerebral palsy or muscular dystrophy and 50% have to communicate with the support from augmentative communication equipment. For those of you who have not heard about Treloar, please have a look at the following link: https://www.treloar.org.uk/
