Like the other kits available from testo, this set includes a number of useful instruments. There’s the testo 115i clamp thermometer. This device stands out when it comes to temperature measurements at widely spaced measuring points. It’s also capable of measuring the flow and return temperature.

This device is also capable of measuring gas flow temperature and static pressure, as well as being able to carry out pressure drop tests. Setting it apart from other instruments, this device allows heating technicians to measure air flow velocity and volume flow.

Finally, this set also includes the testo 805i infrared thermometer (Pictured Right). This unique thermometer includes a laser circle to make measuring spots and the ability to measure surface temperatures without coming into contact with them.

So, to clarify, this set includes the testo 115i, testo 510i (including a hose set), an adapter, the testo 805i, the testo Smart Case, batteries for the devices and the calibration protocol.

Smarter tools, smarter heating

testo-limited-510i-differential-pressure-gauge-bluetooth-smart-probe-application-2A truly modern set of instruments, the Smart Tools Heating Set can transmit data wirelessly through to the testo Smart Tools app. This essentially means that any measurement data recorded by the instruments is readily available on either a tablet or smartphone.

The app also offers additional functionality, including the ability to carry out practical functions such as timed and multi-point mean calculation. If required, users can then send this measurement data via a PDF or Excel document to a computer for review and analysis.

There’s really no easier way to take the valuable data gathered by using these instruments and transmit it to a computer for use down the track.
