What is Super Resolution?

Super Resolution is a feature of IR Soft technology which allows the user to upgrade the resolution of their thermal images. On the 870, 875 & 875i cameras for instance the image resolution will increase from 160 x 120 to 320 x 240. This effectively means that even thermal images taken with our entry level camera (Testo 870) will look the high quality that until now only high end thermal cameras could offer.

The higher the resolution of your thermal images, the more abnormalities you can see. The revolutionary SuperResolution Technology will instantly make the image quality of your thermal camera a cut above the rest. Four times as many readings and a geometrical resolution that has been improved by a factor of 1.6, means you have even greater detail and even greater reliability of measurement.

 

So those are the advantages, how much of a saving will I be making?
