The heating season may be over for the time being, providing the sun stays out (this is the UK after all!) but good weather also spells an increase in demand for ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration maintenance.
Yesterday was officially the hottest day of the year and if the forecasts are to be believed there’s more of the same to come. In these conditions many of us rely on our building air conditioning and cooling systems to get us through the day.

417 vane anemometer – no.1 best seller
Our best selling anemometer. The compact testo 417 anemometer kit with built-in flow/temperature vane Ø 100 mm to measure flow speed, volume flow and temperature. Volume flow is shown directly in the display.
Accurate volume flow calculation thanks to easy input of duct area. In addition, it is easy to switch to the current temperature reading. The flow direction, i.e. drawn in or blowing, is visible in the display. Timed and multi-point mean calculation provide information on mean volume flow, flow speed and temperature readings.
The optional funnel set facilitates efficient measurements at ventilator grilles and disc outlets. Min/max values can also be shown in the display. Current readings can be frozen in the display using the Hold function. The 410 measures air speed and temperature part of our pocket size range. It is ideal for quick spot checks at air outlets on account of its integrated measurement with the 40mm vane. Timed mean calculation is possible. In addition to air speed and temperature, testo 410-2 also measures air moisture. Testo’s very own, patented humidity sensor guarantees accurate readings. In this way, air conditions can be reliably checked.

New Testo 549 – Our best ever value manifold
The biggest strength of the Testo 549 digital manifold has to its phenomenal value. At under £200 it is our best ever value manifold. It precisely measures high side / low side pressure and instantly displays the corresponding saturation / evaporation temperatures for 60 refrigerants. With optional temperature probes, automatic superheat and sub-cooling calculations can be displayed.

New Testo 550 – With Bluetooth capabilities and New Refrigeration App
The testo 550 instantly displays superheat and sub-cooling for up to 60 refrigerants. It also measures high / low side pressures and temperatures. It also has a Bluetooth connection, can now connect to our Brand New Testo Refrigeration App, which is exclusively available to Testo customers.Using the App measurement data can be read directly on a Smartphone or tablet, and measurement reports can be finalised and sent directly on site. The list of stored refrigerants can also be easily updated via the App.

In addition to the strengths of the New 550, the testo 557 digital manifold will offer a 4-way valve block for fast, safe and efficient work in commissioning, service and maintenance. Multi function instrument – for VAC & IAQ
The Testo 435 can be used for a number of functions. These include as a measuring instrument for ambient air conditions, for assessment of Indoor Air Quality and adjusting and testing VAC systems, and it stands out on account of its efficient measurement process. Probe-controlled menus and selectable user profiles, e.g. for duct measurement or long-term measurement, ensure the user-friendliest operation possible.
The IAQ probe measures Indoor Air Quality by measuring the CO2 level, air moisture and air temperature. In addition, the lux probe and comfort level probe can be connected to assess draught air. Clear analysis and archiving ensure practical PC documentation. Temperature and humidity measurement is integrated in the thermal probe.
The special flow protocol professionally documents duct measurements. It is also possible to connect additional temperature and humidity probes. Readings from up to 3 temperature or humidity probes can be clearly displayed in the measuring instrument; data transmission is by radio, i.e. wireless. We also have kit options to meet your requirements including an IAQ kit, VAC kit and a Kitchen VAC kit.
