BMTA: A voice for the measurement industry

Regardless of the industry, it’s important that there exist channels and means by which companies can have a voice and opinions can be heard. In sectors such as the testing and measurement industry, there needs to be means whereby significant companies and organisations can communicate with the relevant official government bodies regarding issues concerning the community.

One such relevant industry body is the BMTA (The British Measurement & Testing Association). The BMTA are an independent ‘Lobby’ who provide a voice, support, training & development for the private sector of the testing and measurement industry. The BMTA is a not for profit organisation which works to develop and represent the testing and measurement industry and support key companies within the industry by enabling them and giving them a voice to relevant government bodies.

Testo has recently become a fully accredited associate of the BMTA and we’re proud to recommend membership to others in the industry in order to continue to development and growth of this important resource.

Membership with the BMTA is open to all laboratory based organisations in the testing and measurement industry and there are key benefits that affiliated members will gain. Members will have access to a wide range of industry information and updates as well as the ability to be involved in discussions with a network of purely relevant participation.
