Here we go again…

Well they have done it again! As we are now quickly approaching winter the good old folks at the one of the largest gas and electricity suppliers have announced further price increases!
Following previous trends this will only encourage other suppliers to follow suit and have us all taking in a deep breath as our belts get ever tighter and our pockets lighter!

Anyone in gas and electricity engineering will tell you that this is their busiest time of year, with boiler and radiators needing their annual checks before they are fired up. However, with this latest announcement, contractors may find themselves doing double time as calls come flooding in from those desperately wanting advice and guidance on how they can save energy and more importantly, as many pennies as they can for Santa’s visit in just over ten weeks!!!

There are various schemes out there to support those in wanting to switch providers, or even improve their building’s insulation.

However before an appropriate solution can be found and implemented, it is vital that diagnostics are first performed to identify problem areas. These can be time consuming and with the unpredictable British weather it could potentially delay work that may need to be carried out.

As thermographers will tell you, the quickest way of identifying potential leaks in cavity walls, window frames or even through lofts will be to use thermal imagery. The clearer the picture, the quicker the diagnosis can be attained and the problem rectified.

For this reason testo thermal cameras are the only ones that use SuperResoultion® technology which provides higher quality images 4 times greater than conventional thermal imagers.
