Testo | Digital Manifold | Refrigeration and Heating Pumps

Testo | Digital Manifold

Testo is due to launch two new digital manifold’s designed for multiple measurements for both refrigeration systems and heat pumps at the start of May 2011.

Both of which will be exhibited at the ACR Show 2012 on 13-15 March 2012 at the NEC in Birmingham.

The Testo 557 and Testo 570 measures and analyses high and low pressures, temperatures, vacuum and compressors. 40 refrigerants are stored in the instruments. Simple connection of two external pipe probes enables super-heating and sub-cooling to be calculated and displayed simultaneously.

The internal data logging and printing functions replace the need to take notes. The technician is able to record measurement values for up to 72 hours from different systems whilst using the 570, to identify errors and find fault. You can also recall reports at any time to analyse the performance of the system.

The simultaneous connection of various probes, at the same time as refrigerant bottles or vacuum pump gives convenient and uncomplicated method for servicing systems. In addition to this, a temperature-compensated tightness test of the system can be carried out using the Testo 570. Measurements are accurate and fast helping to reduce errors, and save time and costs.

Testo | 557

The Testo 557 is a mid level upgrade from the Testo 550. The 557 is the ideal partner for all technicians who wish to carry out commissioning, service and maintenance on refrigeration systems and heat pumps quickly and efficiently, and also require documentation of the measurement results.

The Testo 557 is a digital manifold for commissioning, maintenance and service work on refrigeration systems and heat pumps. It replaces mechanical manifolds, thermometers and pressure/temperature tables. The 4-way valve block allows fast and efficient work, and the integrated vacuum measurement supports in the evacuation of a system.

– up to 2 NTC probes can be connected
– High-quality sensors measure high and low pressure
– Calculation of superheating/subcooling in real time
– Temperature-compensated tightness testing
– Heat pump mode
– 40 refrigerants stored

The 570’s predecessor the fantastic Testo 550 has been an industry leader for quite some time, but the time has come for it to step back and allow the Testo 570 to flourish.

Testo | 550

The 550 simplicity allows you to switch on, measure, and read off the values on the large clear display quickly and easily. Two temperature-compensated pressure sensors measure high and low pressure quickly and precisely, and automatically calculate the temperatures. A glance at the instrument display is enough, and you see the measurement result. Two temperature inputs guarantee you the simultaneous calculation and display of superheating and subcooling. The temperature can additionally also be displayed. By simply pressing a button, you can switch between the measurement tasks at your will

The Testo 550 digital manifold , ideal for all measurement work on refirgeration systems and heat pumps, perfect for measurement of low and high pressure as well as calculation of temperatures and simultaneous calculation of superheating and subcooling in real time. With 39 refrigerants already stored in instrument the Testo 550 has all your Refrigeration and Heating needs covered.
